bug-conditional comments being turned off on article pages.
Hi i have a site that relies on conditional comments to make the site work in ie 6 and 7. Moreso ie 6. The design makes extensive use of png transparency using this method.
http://bjorkoy.com/past/2007/4/8/the_easiest_way_to_png/
Something happens on the individual article pages, the conditional comments dont work on these pages and the link to the external file for the png transparency hack doest load.
For instance on this page the conditional comments work:
http://www.eaf.textdriven.com/music/
But on this page they dont:
http://www.eaf.textdriven.com/music/eliza-carthy-the-ratcatchers
It dosnt matter if i put the conditional comments directly in the page or in a form-and it doesnt matter if the link to the external script is in a conditional comment or not. -Both dont work on the article pages.
Very serious problem site is live.
any advice greatly appreciated.

Did you look at the source code of the rendered pages?
Were the conditionals comments there?
Was the path correct?

yes, they are there and the path to the external file is the same as on the section pages which work.

Re: bug-conditional comments being turned off on article pages.
It’s highly unlikely to be a Textpattern bug.
Since you’re now using your workaround we can’t exactly figure out the problem now.
