Is stumbleupon a spam referrer?
In the past few weeks months I keep on receiving hits from stumbleupon but all on a particular page… The referrer link reads
http://www.stumbleupon.com/refer.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fneme.org%2Fmain%2F137%2Fnomadism
If other pages were visited from the site i would probably ignore it but it is only this one which receives the ‘attention’.
The hits are over 20 a day which I find very suspicious.
Should I block it?

They say:
One of our members added your page to the Postmodernism topic on StumbleUpon.
Each time our members who are interested in Postmodernism “stumble upon” your page using our toolbar, it will record an entry on your referral logs.
You’re famous, in a way ;-) Block it, if you do not want to be famous, I’d say.

Yeah, StumbleUpon showing up in your logs is a good thing. :)
