I’ve started an Internet Relay Chat channel called #textpattern on irc.freenode.net. I’m hoping this becomes a good destination for people looking for general Txp help, for plugin developers wanting to swap war stories, for those who wish to duke out once and for all whether the ‘write’ tab should keep its name, and for those looking generally to augment their Txp lifestyle.

Those looking for an introduction to IRC can start here.

Not sure how often I’ll be there in the next little while, as I’m wrapped up in the Buying a House With No Financial Planning project, but you never know.

I think the channel picks up once in a blue moon. I haven’t logged on in ages since it’s so quiet whenever I do.

Yeah, I log on, say hello, the silence is deafening, I log off. I guess being perpetually logged on is normal for that kind of forum, but I also think it adds to a general apathy about communicating there.

it gets some noise every so often. i have helped once or twice when i can. jsut have to be caught at the right moment.
