installation issues
Hello all. I heard and read so many great things about TXP as a CMS that I am dying to try my hands on this.
having said this, I can’t event get past the simple installation :)
I created a username, database name, and password in my cpanel.
I put the appropriate information into the Setup page. When I hit ‘next’ I get the following error. What am I missing?

After some going back and forth, I realized that when asked to input my mySQL info, I did it wrong. There is supposed to be a prefix of the servers name prior to the actual username, ie; prefix_username . Instead, I had only inputted the username instead. That did the trick and worked. So thanks for trying Ruud.
However, I have to wonder why only a prefix is only needed for the username and not password?

That is due to your host setup, not Textpattern.
