When deleting a custom field keyword slides up into custom field
Before I call it a bug I want to be sure if this can be experienced on different installations as well.
I was using several custom fields plus the keyword field. I then deleted one custom field and afterwards found the former keyword one row above in a a custom field.
Has anybody had similar?

What plugins are you running? That is where I would look first.

These are asy_wondertag, dca_random_image, hak_article_image, hak_tinymce, rss_article_edit, upm_savenew, zem_contact_lang + zem_contact_reborn.
Maybe there were ebl_BatchUpload and mka_jquery active at that moment.

Re: When deleting a custom field keyword slides up into custom field
Can you describe exactly how (step by step) you removed the custom field and is this something you can reproduce? Does this also happen if you de-activate all plugins?
Of those plugins, it’s definitely not asy_wondertag or zem_contact_lang/reborn, because those don’t touch the custom fields.

Re: When deleting a custom field keyword slides up into custom field
ruud, I’m very sorry, but I don’t get this error reproduced at the moment. Perhaps because I’ve changed the plugin constellation several times.
When it happened I had two custom fields. In the concerned articles these weren’t used at that moment (i.e empty). In the article’s keywords field there was only one keyword, lowercase ASCII. I then deleted the second custom fields name, saved the change, made some changes to the page template, and went back to my articles, where I found the keywords’ entry in the remaining custom field and the keywords field now was empty. This happened in each of the eight articles I had at that time.

I’m curious what custom field names are we dealing with?

Re: When deleting a custom field keyword slides up into custom field
:))
nothing extraordinary, they consisted of uppercase and lowercase letters and under…. what’s it called: «_»
edit: stop, that was after reading the faq. Previous to that I used these exta characters: »«! and blanks
