No, target audience is definitely broadband (even if just 256Kb). It’s around 23req 170KB all in all, 100-110KB gets cached, requests between different pages being 6-7 60-70KB (actually even less because this includes css & js files). Even on dial-up, these figures should ensure a smooth experience. If you can test it on dial-up, let me know how well the above translate into reality.
