Showcase sites

I’d love to see a showcase website section on textpattern.com. I know txpmag.com does some of this but it’s not as good as having it on the official site.

You could use zem contact to create a mini interview with text boxes. You can then just post the best, it’s good promotion for Textpattern and inspires new people and the community.

PS. I’d be willing to help moderate them if time is an issue. You’d just have to set the status to live.

i recently thought of that as well. much more sites should be showcased on textpattern.com/featured !! alex has a very nice list already, you could use that as a starting point. http://txpmag.com/all_sites

i’d also volounteer to fill this section with content.

I forgot about that. It would be good to have a sticky topic in the forum about submitting you’re site to be featured. Or a custom zem contact reborn form where they can answer a mini interview (I hate to say it but something like this).

Once the featured section has a bit more in it it could be given a mini area/link on the front page.
