trouble installing on Yahoo-hosted account
I’m on a mac and having trouble installing textpattern.4.0.4 on a yahoo-hosted account.
Specifically I get “can’t connect to database” error trying to setup.
Problem may be no .htaccess file.
I can’t create one either, Fetch tells me the Server does not allow that name.

Please read the FAQ.
“Can’t connect to database” means what it says.

Not very helpful Alex, sounds snotty.
Easy to do but hard to find.
If anyone else has same problem, it was fixed by:
replacing “localhost” with “mysql” on the database setup screen.
Next problem seems like Yahoo’s restriction on .htaccess
Anyone have a workaround for that?
