Forward and Back Buttons for Articles in the Same Section and Category

I am trying to make forward and back buttons to navigate back and forth to individual articles within the same section and category.

txp:link_to_prev and txp:link_to_next only seem to work by posting time and date.

I don’t mind the posting date sorting but I want the buttons to be restricted to the current articles category and section.

Any help appreciated.
