Comment Submission problems.
My issue is that after a person makes a comment, then previews the comment. clicks submit, the page in FF goes to a different page. I dont know how to describe this but it only loads the submitted comment.

Everything works as far as the comment being posted and in the DB and everything else it jsut seems that FF wont play nice with the submit. It works fine in Safari but not in FF. Is this an issue I tried to search for comment submit and FF and no dice.

This is a problem particular to Safari (it doesn’t follow the spec as it should), but it is easily fixed.

Thanks for the quick reply, actually safari works great. Its Firefox thats the culprit.
once the URL gets to this:
?commented=1#c000016
it wont work. And if you look at the source in Firefox it loads the page as it should. So the source is right just not the display. Kind of hard to explain.

Ah, I see.
I have the suspicion that it might be your JavaScript, as I actually have a slight delay between the page loading and the top part disappearing.

I narrowed it down to this CSS rule in default.css:
#top-container {
overflow: hidden;
}It doesn’t make any sense as to why that should only happen when following an anchor link. I’m at a loss there.
