Gifford Hirlinger Winery
Just getting finished with Gifford Hirlinger site.
Works as expected in FF, but there’s some wacky behaviour in IE that I need some help with.
Also some cleanup work for safari.
So have at it, people.

I don`t like split start screens, normally…
But this one is very nice. Well Done!
Unfortunately i don`t have an IE here, so i can`t have a look.
But let me guess: IE sucks with the backgrounds?

Viewing it on ff1.5 and it looks beautiful:)
In safari 1.3.2 the <li><h2>---------------------------------------</h2></li> are showing over the curly brackets. Why not replace them with ? But maybe there is a reason which i just miss

yeah, I need to fix that, I could actually use a span to hang the bottom bracket on, which might be more semantic.

beleive it or not they work, it’s the menus that suck, at least on my XP multi-ie testing machine.

mmmm….. loverly! It works well in Opera. I saw one glitch on the 2003 Redline wine page. There’s some white showing near the bottom of the bottle and the footer has gone weird.
Great site! Just needs the taste and sniff plugin for perfection ;-)

I like the site! I don’t see anything wrong with the menus in IE7, but something else: screenshot.
Removing the height from #content might fix it.
What is your alternative Lorem Ipsum? I can actually read it!

@els where is the lorem ipsum you are talking about. Likely it’s from the firefox plugin, “dummy lipsum generator”
IE 6, 5.5 anyone?

IE6: The footer has disappeared altogether on the Redline page. It’s fine on the 18 below page, as it is in Opera.
Also in IE6, the small pics, left of the brief descriptions on the wine releases page, are not clickable, although the links to read more and + button are. The read more and + button are on the right in IE, but are underneath the small pics in Opera.
I just noticed that the Store page is odd in Opera, although fine in IE6. I’d better let you see what I am seeing:
