How do you change the install directory?

I want to install in a sub-directory so I can import from WordPress, move my template over, and get the site set up on TXP.

It looks like that once I’m done, I can just delete the WP files, copy the TXP files to the root directory, and update the site path in config.php.

Is that correct?

Re: How do you change the install directory?

Yes, though it’d be a lot faster to setup a localhost install (server on your own computer) for WP to TXP conversion, then upload the TXP site. For localhosting, there are a number of all-in-one, quick installs:

  • Windows: Uniform Server, XAMPP
  • Mac: MAMP (or just enable personal web sharing, install MySQL, and uncomment php lines in httpd.conf)

Thank you for the link. (I’ve been searching the wiki, but missed that page…)
