[textile] Footnotes modified

I trivially changed classTextile.php to implement a link back to the note in the footnotes rendering, as seen here.

It’s inspired by Markdown model. If someone is interested let me know how and to who should I send the code.

Re: [textile] Footnotes modified

I’d be interested! I am experimenting with TextPattern and with posting rather lengthy academic papers a return on the footnotes is a showstopper for me.

Re: [textile] Footnotes modified

I’m also interested. It’s something I’ve been wanting to implement myself.

Re: [textile] Footnotes modified

Seems like this could be useful to many. Would you mind posting the code here? :D

Re: [textile] Footnotes modified

Hello all.
I quickly posted a note here (it, en) explaining what I’ve done. You can download the replacement classTextile file here and look for the modified functions (search for “modified footnote”).

I admit that I don’t remember very well the changes I made, so any improvement is welcome!… :)

Re: [textile] Footnotes modified

You got a problem because I’m getting a problem myself with my webserver… Working on this. Now the url is ok, please retry and let me know (some problem still remain on the main domain boscartoon.com, but dottorb.boscartoon.com should be ok).

Re: [textile] Footnotes modified

I changed the classTextile.php used in the last distribution to make the footnote backlink work with 4.0.8 – rev. 2812 (I haven’t used the last SVN version because I simply modified the file on my server…).

I also changed the default Unicode character code for the back link, because the old one wasn’t working in IE (haven’t figured until now). Download it here. Just rename as classTextile.php and put in the textpattern/lib directory. Resave your articles to make it work.
