I'm stuck...
I can knock out a design for most anything except myself. When it comes to designing a layout that suits my personal preference, I draw blanks and get, “Designer’s Block.” And hence, this is how I am when it comes to my website
I don’t know what it is, but nothing about this design works. I like the logo, and I like the text and container at the bottom, but that’s about it… I’m stuck. The original concept faded a long time ago. &hitting head against desk&

We are always our most difficult client:)
One method is to get friend who understands you (and design) well enough and design it for them. Once you satisfy them… use the design for yourself.
ps. I like your layout but not the blue for the links at the end of the page:)

Re: I'm stuck...
Why not go mad and do the whole ripped edges and coffee cup stain look? It would suit the logo.. maybe you could change the background colour to a browner shade.. have pens and notebooks around the place?
If I can find a page of what Im thinking of I’ll send it!

Re: I'm stuck...
I believe I got out of my design “funk.”
I stopped trying to be grungy. I was going for two different looks that clashed. Now, I just need time to get it all put together.
