Grouping Posts into Monthly themed "Issues"
Hello All -
I’m working on a website where each month there will be a new “Issue”. I can output each article in I need in a given month, and create the archive list of months. However, each “issue” has a theme. What would be the best way to group postst by “Theme”, or be able to output the theme as well as the month? Would it be by setting a category on the articles? Or setting a section for each Theme. Articles would not be able to be in more than one theme.

There is this example which explains how to list articles by month and this one which which explains how to list articles by category. Maybe a combination of the two methods might produce your “issue (month)”, theme (category?).

Thanks Colak, I had seen both of those tutorials, and was sort of thinking that was how to do it, just wanted to see if anyone had any similar experience. Appreciate the reply.
