Styling and editing comment messages

Hello –

I couldn’t quite find the answer to my questions (did a search but couldn’t find it — apologies if this has been treaded before).

Essentially, I’m looking to style the comment messages — particularly say, for when comments are closed. So this would be, how would one style “commenting closed for this article”.

I’d like to do two things here: style it so that it’s formatted with my site and also at the very least capitalize the message.
