[textile] Textile Footnotes[] not displaying after diacritic marks
If you use e.g. German as your TXP-language, the textile-markup
Tree[1]to show a footnote to the term “Tree” does not work, if the last letter is a diacritic mark. I tried it with
Fuß[2]and the result was Fuß2
instead of Fuß².
Textpattern-Version: 4.0.4 (r1956)

The same problem exists with footnotes after links. For example:
"This is a link":http://www[1]
translates to:
(note the [1 is swallowed up as part of the URL)
1 Not a real address.

Yes, this is a bug, but I am really highly interested: when do you ever need a footnote right after an URI?

Not after the URI but after the linked word, and yet outside the link.

What Jeremie said. Sorry if I was unclear. It can happen anytime someone wants to add an explanatory footnote to a word/phrase/sentence that is also a link.
