Portfolio Site - Second Evolution

Hey everyone,

Just recently reskinned my simple portfolio site. It’s not that simple anymore. Have a peek and lemme know what you think…

Rawsterne – Design and Illustration

There’s an article in the Journal section with screenshots of the old design so that you can see how the site has evolved.

I’ve still got a few loose ends to finish so if you spot anything that doesn’t look quite right please let me know.

Thanks John

Hi arengula
nice design… one comment
Your sample code on http://www.rawsterne.co.uk/journal/using-wallpaper-patterns-in-css appears too small (from this end at least). Maybe it has to do with body{font: 62.5%/1.5... ?

Thanks for spotting that :) I’d forgotten to declare a font family on the PRE tag and certain browsers (firefox, safari etc) set fixed space fonts to a smaller size by default. Hopefully, it should be fixed now. If anyone is interested there’s an in depth article about the fixed space “bug” here

Thanks to everyone for the feedback so far.
