Wow, I am really looking forward to this plugin! Please let me know how I can donate some cash to the cause, and I will drop a few dollars your way for the effort!
I can see this plugin being very handy in the near future!

Hi Levi, just want to say that I’m looking forward to this wonderful plugin! So far I haven’t had the time to test it, but I hope to do so soon. Thanks for all your good work!

Hello, a_band!
We ( Russian Textpattern community ) think that your e-commerce plugin for Textpattern is a huge step forward in TxP popularity.
Russian Textpattern community also attentively watches for your work, and there are two questions:
- Do you plan to provide localization ability to your plugin? When will be possible to test it?
- Is it possible to insert Russian currency – ISO 4217 (RUSSIAN FEDERATION – RUB) into initial setup of plugin?
Thank you!

Hi Everyone,
Hi Levi, will the beta work with PayPal?
I believe so. I think that would be the best option for an initial release.
Evgeny: Wow! How exciting to hear that so many people are interested.
Do you plan to provide localization ability to your plugin? When will be possible to test it?
I do plan to do it. Other people have echoed the need for this feature. But right now I’m focusing on just getting the intial release out the door and then making revisions. But considering TXP’s large international following, it’s a high priority for me.
Is it possible to insert Russian currency – ISO 4217 (RUSSIAN FEDERATION – RUB) into initial setup of plugin?
Absolutely. I’m surprised that I missed it. I’ll make sure it gets into the next build.

Re: Thinking about building an e-commerce plugin...
Great to see Levi! Thanks for this…
I downloaded the patched install of TxP – which installed fine – now I just need a couple of pointers to work out how to start playing with it.
On a standard install of the patched version, the ‘Store’ tab just gives me a 404, and I don’t see any other hints for operation…
Not expecting full docs or anything, but can you steer me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Re: Thinking about building an e-commerce plugin...
Hi Levi,
awesome work! Just posted an article on TextCommerce on the german TXP Resource Blog. Once the Plugin is final i can help with translation into german.
Just one question: wouldn´t it be a good idea adding a link to your dropcash campaign on the left hand side bar on the TextCommerce site?

Re: Thinking about building an e-commerce plugin...
Great work! I just found out about this and did a clean test install. After creating a few products, clicking on the product link gives me “404 Not Found, Unknown section”. Normal articles work ok.
