Check out the mootools or Pylons sites. Good examples of having it all under one roof.

I’m in favor of consolidating domains too. I kinda wish the community and resource sites could be combined too, such as textpattern.org, textile, txpmanual, textgarden, txplanet.net, but that’s just me. Most of all, a unified design between the main site and wiki would be appreciated (ex: Overture21).
