Patch: resorting of prefs
Sort prefs more intuitively, add a new section for a growing pref type (keeping the necessary number of queries as low as possible). We’ve had quite at a lot of prefs added, but just sort of dropped in higgledy-piggledy.
Opinions/suggestions/problems?

Sounds fair to me.
The whole prefs design needs a rethink, but not in 4.0.x. This seems like a reasonable cleanup for the stable branch.
