I looked up Korean, and it seems that Korean is called different things depending upon where you’re from. Are there any other differences between them, or only in name?

South Korean speak ‘한국어(hangugeo)’, and North Korean speak ‘조선말(joseonmal)’.
We use almost same language, but has some minor differences.
As I think it can be liken to differences with between Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese. (not sure)
No problem in communication but two has different culture in about six decade.
I live in South Korea(Republic of Korea), so I use 한국어(hangugeo) in translated file :)
Thank you.

garin: Thanks. :)
Henrik: I know. Pedro is the one who looks after Txp localisation (setting up translators, etc). I’ve emailed him to let him know/remind him of these recent lang additions/updates.

Re: [Obsolete] Translating Textpattern to ...
Hi,
I would like to draw the attention to the broken TXP help Files on the Server, that are not part of the lang files.
I would suspect it is an encoding Issue due to a mistakenly wrong encoded text file. Is there anything that we can do about ?
See the screenshot below.

Apart from that, I’d like to inform, that I have a final revision of the greek lang file. The translation work in that particular case is very timeconsuming and difficult, as there is not yet a specific term a standard for a particlular english term in some cases.
I’m still waiting for some feedback.
regards, marios

Re: [Obsolete] Translating Textpattern to ...
Dear TXP Coredeveloppers.
Would please someone upload the lang file to the rpc service.
The file is here
I fixed a couple of encoding Issues, orthography check, lang terms, updates, etc.
Since it is obviously not possible to get a Translator Account, or to communicate through e-mail, I hope, that someone will take care of it.
It is a very sad fact, that nothing has been done about it , after almost 6 months of my first e-mails.
I’m very much concerned about it.
regards, marios

Marios,
We’re waiting on Pedro, who maintains the RPC server. He’s unavailable for a few more days at least.

@zem, the popup help is already fixed. What remains, is the lang file.

Re: [Obsolete] Translating Textpattern to ...
FYI, the english popup help version for URL mode/prefs is completely outdated and could need some revision, once pedro id back in business.
I spent the last two days, to clean up the mess, and translate all the missing help section entries.
However, the lang file would be easier, just to grab here from the link and ftp up.
( I might have left some orthography mistankes behind. Greek Users, report it, if you can )
Greek Localized backend is back in full shining Armor, and it looks pretty too:))
The localization of some specific lang terms might not be 100% ok, it’s a trade-off and could need some revision at some point, but that’s all I could do at the moment.
regards, marios

Re: [Obsolete] Translating Textpattern to ...
Just finished some more Swedish help translations and noticed that the URLs don’t match(?)
From 4.0.5: http://rpc.textpattern.com/help/?item=table&lang=sv
Working URL: http://rpc.textpattern.com/help/?item=table&language=sv-se
Is this easy to fix?
TIA,
/Anton
