Try:
bc.. a block
of
code
with spaces and tabs
and blank
lines
Then, you have to escape from the bc..
and you can do it by adding a p.
(or any other textile) in the line where you want to escape from the block code (quote this post to see what I’m talking about).

The html output is <pre><code> ... </code></pre>
. You can style that in the CSS, for example:
pre {
background-color: #ffffcc;
border: 1px dashed #000;
}
