Audioblogging with TXP?

I’ve not ventured into the XML-RPC stuff, and don’t know if audioblogging is supported through it, but my sister will be walking the pacific coast trail soon and I’d like to get her hooked up with some audioblogging features at her site which is TXP powered.

Any ideas? Anybody tried hipcast?
Is it possible to pull in the audioplayer from a blogger blog using rss? I don’t know too much about the enclosures necessary for that?

:)

Try Big in Japan’s stuff. Also, I just set up a friend with a podcast for his movie blog using these two resources:

tru_podcast plugin

Then to get the mimetype thing to work right:

Re: Audioblogging with TXP?

Walker,
I’ve set up podcasting before, but she’ll need to post by phone, and that’s the bit I don’t have a handle on.
I think I’ll need to take a look at hipcast to provide the phone to blog option, although I’d still be interested in learning how to pull different types of information from a feed. Most feeds I see, don’t include the audio/video?

WHat’s your experience?

Odeo used to offer the phone in deal, but I have not used it in a long time, it may be worth a gander.

Soulship, Thanks. Yeah I had checked that out, but they dropped it for lack of popularity in late 2006. :(
