How do we go about using the custom form function? I can’t find any documentation for it.

Have you an example form we could use? Basically what I’m trying to do is have the popup functionality (which I know and love) but maybe have the image description as a caption on both the popup and when it’s displayed with the thumbnail in the article.

upm_image_popper inserts images. If you also have upm_image installed, it has a custom form ability, which is documented in its accompanying Help doc.

Quick hack to add an upload form onto my favorite plugin in another thread:

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_img_popper: Minimal image selector

Mary, thanks for perfect plugin. It’s elegant and simple, but feature rich.

I have one small concern. For a nonprofit client, I’d like to list the five classes I’ve set up for their use with images. Instead of remebering “left” or “bordergray”, they can just delete what they don’t need.

When I save this preference, the list is seperated with dashes instead of spaces. But to apply multiple classes, there should be spaces. For example, it should output class=“center grayborder”. I fear the client will forget to replace dashes with spaces.

Is there a way for me to work around this? yields the same result. doesn’t help.

thanks again for all your work…

Mary, I’d like to make a donation toward your plugin development. But I don’t see a link on your site. How can I do this?

Matthew, ah, you found a bug, of sorts. I’ll post a fix in a minute.

I know how to use the custom form feature of upm_image for displaying a caption along with an image in an article.

But how would I go about using upm_image_popper’s popup option to bring up an image with caption in a new window? It seems the window always snugly fits the image. From what I can tell it’s not possible to use both, a custom form and the popup feature.

Cheers Martin

Make your own JavaScript. You can use the plugin’s, upm_image actually, as a base to start from. Then just turn off the plugin’s script (see plugin prefs).
