Styling preview comment ... how? [solved!]

In the sourcecode you have this:

<a href=“mailto:vos.joop@planet.nl” rel=“nofollow”>Joop Vos</a> 17 maart 2007, 08:02 <!— [<a href=“http://www.ooglijm.nl/txp/columns/het-is-oogsttijd-door-gert-gerrits#c0” id=“c0”>permanente link</a>] —> <br /> <p>Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.</p>

With this result > screendump

How can I get a ‘div’ with a ‘class’ around this all so I can style it?

In the “comments_display” form just put the following code:

<txp:comments_preview form="comment_preview"/>

where you want your preview displayed.

Then create the “comment_preview” form, copying the “comments” form and styling it differently (with the div)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Sometimes it’s so hard to understand these kind of things with TXP … :( … but when you do, it’s so obvious … :)

It’s a new feature (in the 4.0.4 release, I think) and is not well documented yet. :-)
