OK, I’m thoroughly confused, again I am wondering why your account is about to expire if it just got paid for and renewed. But I digress, I will be happy to send something your way when the features listed are implemented!
If this is going to be a commissioned programming session, let me add one more request. In addition to the “latest thumbnails” thing, can we have a “random thumbnails” feature as well (also not part of the three-tiered system)?

Oh, I completely misunderstood your posts. inakit paid for me and it will last one year. I won’t accept any donations until I need to extend my account once again. But I will most probably implement the features you requested earlier.

@ Ralph. Thought about using your plugin, but before I got around to working it out (not too smart at this), I’d managed to do what I wanted ‘manually’.
However, I have some simple Flickr slideshow popups running from this page and know I should have asked at the outset, but does your plugin do just these simple popups from a clickable point?

If you only want to use slideshow popups, the plugin won’t be a great help. In this case, you better put together the slideshow links manually. But you do have some great pictures on your site!

I seem to be having some trouble with later versions of PHP5. I’ve installed the plugin successfully on a site using 5.0.3 and it worked immediately, but on a separate server running 5.1.2 following exactly the same process I’m getting a ‘failed to connect to flickr.com’ error message. Simplexml is enabled in both instances. Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

It does work with PHP 5.1.6 that ships with MAMP, so I don’t really know.
