Can I log errors?
Is there a way I can log errors – ie, log what causes the error_default page to trigger? I would like to know what people are typing in to cause the errors.
I thought of creating a section and article just for errors, and then redirecting to it from error_default, but as Sencer said elsewhere, “If you redirect every 404 error, that means you are not sending a 404 HTTP error to the client. but a 30x response. While people usually won’t care, bots or search-engines will.”
I also thought of putting a hit stats thingie on the error_default page, but what is the address of the error_default page that a stat counter would use?
If I create error_404, error_xxx type pages, wouldn’t I have the same problem?

Re: Can I log errors?
I’m using SlimStat for my stats, and that also records urls that lead to error pages. But of course, using a stat counter only for the error pages will give you a much better overview.

Re: Can I log errors?
I tried Slimstat once. I didn’t realise it showed errors too. But I prefer just to use TXP’s very handy logs. I don’t really need screen resolution, platform etc, although Tracksy shows these as well. So the stat counter on the error page suits me fine, and has already made me realise I deleted a page which has led to errors, so I can do something about it now :-)
