Autolink URL
Hi Guys
Does anyone know if theres a way to automatically link URLs in TXP? I’m thinking of something that takes
http://mylink.com and converts to <a href ~~~~>
Thanks in advance

You mean, in articles? There’s the Textile syntax: "some texte":http://site.url

No Basically its a website for my non techie dad and he likes putting links like http://widgets.com and I would like it just to convert that into widget.com

Here is another thread by someone who wants the same. Maybe you can join forces ;)

Re: Autolink URL
Explain to him that a link by itself means nothing, it’s a word (or sentence or image or whatever) that can be linked. Then, around the text, he puts some quotes, a colon, and then the URI. It’s that simple.
