Comment success message
When a comment is posted, the following message is printed by Textpattern:
comment_posted comment_moderated
Source code:

comment_posted comment_moderated

I can’t figure out why this is, nor how to change it, as I’ve already looked in the txp_lang table (a da-dk translation is available). Still this generic message shows up – not even in English.
Also, I’ve tried the tips from the FAQ. No luck.
Any ideas?
The comments are submitted perfectly, I might add.

When you looked in the txp_lang table were those entries present or absent? I’m guessing they were absent which is why TxP is outputting those generic names.
You could try updating your translation from the Admin > Prefs tab — just choose the languages option and then see if you can update. If you can’t then try one of these…
- download your translation from the rpc server and install it manually.
- Use phpMyAdmin to add the missing strings to the lang table
Hope that helps.

Yep, that’d be why.

Re: Comment success message
A translation is present. My language installation (Danish) is up to date.
That’s what puzzles me.

Re: Comment success message
Any hints?
Could it be that the existing translation for comment_posted and comment_moderated are disabled, somehow, though it sounds unlikely to me?

Re: Comment success message
If you look at those entries in the txp_lang table, are the event field entries set to ‘public’?
