Textmate's Blogging Bundle and Textpattern
Has anyone got the TextMate blogging bundle working with Textpattern, and its XML-RPC implementation? If so, what steps did you need to take to get things working? As it stands, I can retrieve posts, and thats about the only thing that works. Trying to save new posts results in a 201 error, while trying to update old posts results in no changes being saved.

That’s a bundle for making it easier to develop TextPattern pages and forms, which isn’t what i’m asking about. I’m wondering if people have blogging from TextMate via XML-RPC working.

I got it working after I watched the TextMate screencast on the Blogging bundle. If you haven’t watched it already, look for this video.

I set it up back in July, so I might be rusty on some of the steps, but I remember following those directions faithfully. One hang-up (that I also have with MarsEdit) is that fetching posts retrieves posts from all sections and I can post only to my article section. But I can post and edit old posts successfully.
If it helps, here is my com.macromates.textmate.blogging.txt file. (Go to Bundles > Blogging > Setup Blogs to edit)

I’m using TextMate to post to my blog.
Keywords (functioning as technorati tags) and (almost) everything.
Only thing I miss is the functionality of excerpts. The ‘cut’ feature in TextMate doesn’t work with Textpattern.
All of the txp plugins dealing with excerpts are for pre-defined excerpts through the forms/pages templates themselves.
I like to have full control of the when and where by way of the body of the entry, the way Movable Type and others do it:
