photo alignment issues
I have worked over night on this and I’m not sure what the issue is here, but IE7 and firefox show my story pages completely different. Have tried modifying the css to no end. Please someone help me out?

Re: photo alignment issues
I’m not really good at interpreting other people’s html+css, but try giving ‘.storyPhoto’ a ‘display: inline’.
My guess is that floating a block level element, such as a table, is enough to remove its block level status on Firefox, but not on IE. I think that changing that will allow it to flow with the rest of the content.

Re: photo alignment issues
I don’t really know if it’s going to work for you, but I downloaded your page and css and started messing around in my css editor.
Turns out there are a couple ‘font-family’ properties in which you didn’t ‘close’ the quotation marks in Verdana. I deleted the opening mark (because it’s not necessary when the font name is a single word) and it all came together as if by magic.
It sounds too good to be true, but you should fix that anyway. I also hope it works, because otherwise I don’t know what else it could be. Your html+css seems to be ok.
Oh, and it doesn’t even need the display: inline bit.

Re: photo alignment issues
Yeah, at least it worked here. Delete it every time “Verdana appears.

Re: photo alignment issues
If I recall correctly I found two occurrences of that. I’m glad that you got it working :)
