password reset?

My password doesn’t work, it just stopped working and I have no way of fixing it. I am using textpattern version 1, how do i reset password?

You mean version 4.0x ?

Just go into the Users Table with phpmyadmin . Browse to the aproprate row to edit and after setting the type to password reenter it there under the User Column.

I did as mario suggested, but it doesn’t work….. am i missing a step?
user_id is = 1
and

name =taomin
pass=password

but it’s not working….
