[request] submission and moderation of articles from users
Basically, I’d need a plugin that could do what mem_self_register and mem_moderation series used to do.
I’d like that:
- a user can register himself not to access to the backend, but to a page in the front end from where he/she can submit an article + image/files/links to be approved.
- The admin (or other roles) can see the articles in the backend and moderate them, then approve them. When approved, the articles should go to the articles list.
- Custom fields, section or categories selection in the front-end is optional. But the moderator/admin should be able to assign them to the final article. Also rss_multiple_categories should be supported.
- If the plugin was MLP compatible, it would be great.
I’d like to contribute paying for such a plugin working with 4.0.4 and next versions. In other words, The plugin should be mantained over the coming versions of txp.
Any chance?
Thanks!

Re: [request] submission and moderation of articles from users
I agree with you. Also I would like to ask the people who are actually using now mem_self and mem_moderation plugins whether they work or not.
As I have posted in this thread, right now I get a list of errors in the extensions > moderate tab.
My setup is: I’m trying on Txp 4.0.4 with the following installed:
- mem_admin_parse v. 0.2.1
- mem_moderation v. 0.4.4
I wonder if the problem might be some changes in in the functionalities of mem_admin_parse..?
Maybe since TxP 4.0.3 some changes in textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php made a revision of this plugin necessary?
