Aptana
I have been checking out Aptana Web IDE as a development program for websites. I like the Eclipse-style layout. It would be interesting to build a Textpattern tag library for use in Aptana. It would go well with the already developed css and html libraries. Does anyone know what would be needed to make this happen?

I suppose, that in that case, it would be better to have Aptana installed on top of Eclipse as a plugin.
( But I’m not entirely sure. They have a forum, where you could ask as well )
I have tried Aptana as well. I think they did a wonderful job.
Unfortunately, it did not work out so well for me ( On MAC OS X )
The main reason , I think that JAVA apps are not working so well on that platform
( Speed and other problems as well )
So I stick with TM for the moment, Firefox and Firebug that is.
( Should be enough for what I need )
Nevertheless Aptana is available for all three main OS’es, so your Idea sounds interesting.
