section system for txp site

I am working on a txp powered site for a client and have been trying to accomplish the following:

He wants to be able to post projects to a portfolio page with multiple images per project with different html classes for each image.
With these postings he wants a list on the main portfolio page of all the posted projects, sorted by several sections he has defined. He wants the lists to update when new projects are added, and have their listings point to an individual, permanent, user-friendly url for each project.

What is the best way to go about doing this?

Feel free to tell me if I need to clarify any of this.
