Tried both – mardale and sagariha – and neither of them work. The mardale fix breaks TXP – error messages in the GUI – and the sagariha fix simply doesn’t work – the plug in doesn’t appear.
Anyone got some insight on this? I can’t upgrade to 4.04, because I use this plug in constantly.

Hmmm, and now I’ve upgraded to bas_img_selector 0.7, and downgraded to TXP 4.03 because they don’t work, I find that 0.7 doesn’t work with TXP 4.03.
Do you have a link for 0.6 Bas?

I hope I fixed:
bas_img_selector_v0.71.txt
No new features, just some little changes like MrDale suggested.
Let my know if it works in your TXP 4.0.4
James, if you need 0.6, try bas_img_selector06.txt

Got it from somewhere, thanks, can’t remember where now. But I think its a good idea to have archive releases available, because problems like this always occur.
So whats the verdict, guys? Is 0.71 working with txp 4.04? I’d like to know if everythings OK out of the box, before I attempt this again.

Excellent – 4.04 seems to be OK with 0.71 for me also.

Got a question though: how do I get the “More” options to open by default?
This came up some time ago but in an earlier version. I didn’t really understand it then and now of course its a different version so the solution is probably different…..

Bastian,
There’s been a lot of discussion about adding upload ability to the write tab.
So far bas_img_selector is the most user friendly of the image selector options I’ve found. Just missing the ability to upload images (with captions) on the fly.
Any thoughts on adding this feature to the plug-in?

Yes it will be added to bas_img_selector.
I need that feature for a page i admin and i am nearly done with implement it on this page.
But it will take some week to finish that and making a plugin out of it….
