new installs - presentation code being ignored
Hi, I’ve done 2 local Textpattern installs, on 2 different computers, and both have the same problem. I’m a newbie, so I checked the FAQ but I didn’t see anything relevant to my situation.
The problem is that the presentation code (style, pages, etc) is ignored when I view the site. This is true both of the default code after a fresh install and also any changes made by new themes (text my pattern on one install, giftwrap on the other).
I am running Textpattern on a local computer (http://localhost), no FTP. My WAMP environment is Apache2Triad.
Any thoughts, please?

Sorry, I just found the templates FAQ. Learned about the diagnostics and realized I had the site URL as a subdir of localhost, should have been just localhost. I think I’m on my way now!
