Thanks. :)
That other contact form… hmm… it doesn’t strip linefeeds and carriage returns from input that is used in headers. It does prevent a few headers from being injected, but it looks like a To: header can still be injected.
Good catch. I’ll let the author know.

The next version of zem_contact_reborn (4.0.3.19) has a new topic
PS. Don’t HTML escape the email address set in the ‘to’ attribute. It doesn’t work and it can make your webhost think that your contact form is being used by spammers ;)

Re: Plugin: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.18 (old version)
I’m sorry, just a question: I’m using 4.0.3.18 on 4.0.4 on a new server I’ve never tried before and I noticed that non-required input fields’ names are encoded, like “qb5a5cecbe28cf1ebbe8cbdf9aa5e5e8b” instead of “address”, so I can’t style them because the class becomes something like class=” qb5a5cecbe28cf1ebbe8cbdf9aa5e5e8b” and it seems to change every time. Is there a way to solve this?

neko, set the ‘name’ attribute for elements you want to give a specific style. If you want all text fields styled the same way, try the 4.0.3.19 version which offers classes like zemText to make styling easier.

Re: Plugin: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.18 (old version)
Hi,
thanks for this sweet plug-in. I was wondering whether it’s possible to include values of a zem_event into the zem_contact form (through hidden fields)?
The real-word example: I need to include a pre-ordering process in a client project, which means a customer can pick one out of x events in a certain category, enters his details in a form and all that stuff incl. txp:title, custom_field variables and zem_event_title are send to the person in charge; it’s kind of like the send_article feature.
Thx for any tips and clues.

Re: Plugin: zem_contact_reborn 4.0.3.18 (old version)
a zem_event
Please provide more details on what that means. I suspect it’s a separate plugin. I’d have to know how these zem_event values are stored and how they are chosen by the visitor. You may be able to do this with the zem_contact_secret tag.
customer can pick one out of x events in a certain category
Using checkboxes?
all that stuff incl. txp:title, custom_field variables and zem_event_title are send to the person in charge
Either use the zem_contact_secret tag or that should be possible in the next version that offers the option of using a form for the layout of the email body. That would work like any other TXP form, so including things like <txp:title /> and <txp:custom_field /> should work then.
