What's the point of [txp:text /]?
What’s an example of good use for this tag?

Don’t know. I’m curious about this one too, but…
When you post width angled brackets in the subject line it appears empty in feeds. So people who rely on feeds for updates will just see “what’s the point of”. You may want to change the subject line to include something like [txp:text]

As far as I know it returns strings from the language table. So <txp:text item="comments_closed" />
will return: Commenting is closed for this article.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
