IE, JavaScript, Active Scripting blocker?
(how do I… get rid of this?)
Almost 2/3 of IE installations I have to use pops up an security banner (like that ‘this websited tried opening a pop-up’‘) stating some Active content was disabled.
About 1/3 do not.
Usually this is due DOM hooks in admin side (rendering plugins using that useless) but it is also triggered from category/section selector which change url directly (onClick=”/some javascript/”) at ‘webside’.
I tried adding site to IE’s Local Area Network / Trusted zones but it did nothing. Now I’m thinking it might be virus protection’s script detection gone awry but then again it doesn’t form a pattern so it might be due some security updates.. *argh*
Any suggestions?
