Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] bas_yatag - Yet another tagging plugin
I checked my downloads just a minute ago and bas_yatag has been downloaded 28 times.
Just mentioning it, because the bas_yatag.txt has been downloaded 28 times, but the .zip only 9 times.
You need both!
I’m looking forward to see some feedback.
@marios
It is fun to play around with AJAX and all these web 2.0 stuff, but i guess that it will take some more time till there is a Standard framework. They are all developing too fast to keep on track with all of those.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] bas_yatag - Yet another tagging plugin
I thought to give you a hand to test this one.
I got the following error after saving an a fresh article, that I tagged with 5 new tags on saving.
Undefined variable: remove in Z:\dev_mysite\textpattern\lib\txplib_misc.php(512) : eval()'d code on line 619
Then I included a call to <txp:bas_yatagged /> in my default article form.
Reading the documentation, I assume that this tag will display all the tags, that the article is tagged with.
But it displays only the last tag, that was inserted in the admin tagging field.
When I then insert new tags for that article, it changed again to the last one.
Seems, like it recognizes only the last tag each time.
( may be I am just using it wrong)
calling the tag URL http://mysite.dev/tag=one/ will display an article excerpt with the permlink URL to that article on the frontpage.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] bas_yatag - Yet another tagging plugin
Ah , I see, there is an other option to tag on the extensions tab.
Using this I got:
@Notice: Undefined variable: list in Z:\dev_mysite\textpattern\lib\txplib_misc.php(512) : eval()’d code on line 885
Warning: join() [function.join]: Bad arguments. in Z:\dev_mysite\textpattern\lib\txplib_misc.php(512) : eval()’d code on line 885
Edit Tag@
when I click on a tag, that isn’t used by that article.
Trying the other ones now.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] bas_yatag - Yet another tagging plugin
Bastian,
Howdy. Interesting plugin. I think this could be a great idea. In Safari, if I hit “enter” It tries to publish the page, whereas if I hit enter in Firefox it completes the tag. Seems like the ability to accurately keystroke is important.
Also, per the prototype thing. I’ve been told that Crockery is using Jquery for the future releases, in case thats something to keep in mind.
Hope that helps,
Matthew
