Add keywords to RSS feed

I’m trying to understand how I can add the data from the Keywords field to the RSS feed, but I’m out of ideas.
Can anybody give me a description on how to do this please?

Two possibilities.

The easy way.

If you don’t care about XML markup for the keyword data, Just put the txp:keywords tag into an article body! It’s not meant to go there (it should be in an article form) but it seems to work for me.

The hard(er) way.

If you are running on TxP 4.0.4 and you want the keywords marked up in the XML then you could try writing a plugin to do it. Here is an article from Zem that might help point you in the right direction for that. (Look at the “Customizable XML feeds.” section.)

this is easily done with the latest version of truists excellent tru_tags plugin!
