Browse through search results
I need a little group thinking here.
I’m making a website that lists hotels, restaurants, etc. You can search through them with all sorts of custom fields (distance to beach, poppularity based on # of comments and visits, price, etc.). I’m guessing people will usually not want to see a single result’s details, but rather compare a few. So, there’s the search page, the search results page, but I would also like that when people go to an article page, they easily go to next and previous search results.
I’m guessing that would be impossible within the article page. I guess I should have a second search results page where the article limit is set to one, with pagination links.
Any idea on how that could be achieved?
Does it makes sense?

Re: Browse through search results
Well first, Txp’s search doesn’t look through custom fields, it only searches article titles and bodies, so you’ll need a plugin that will do that.

To be honest, it’s nothing more than two very specific lines of code added to the doArticles function. I doubt it’s worth making a plugin of it.
