That’s odd – you sure you were trying to backup the correct database? I ask because “mysql” is a database internally used by MySQL.

To do the backup, I went to webmin, and clicked (what I take to be) the appropriate buttons. Mystery upon mystery…

Oh dear. If I were you, I would go to the TextDrive forum or post a support ticket to TextDrive to get that problem resolved before you go any further.
