Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks

Works very well. Thanks! Great Job!

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks

Seems creativesplash can confirm the plugin works well. Would it be possible for me to wait till you (Andrew) checked if it works with importing per tag because on TXP Mag we have nearly 200 links and improting all in one step would cause a lot of work (categorising them).

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks

I’m sorry I wanted to post back earlier but couldnt. I see the tab but there’s a problem when I try to import the html file.

<code>Fatal error: Call to undefined function: safe_pfx() in /home/pujasang/public_html/creativesplash/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(455) : eval()’d code on line 139</code>

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks

@creativesplash: Hm… that function might not be in 4.0.3… might have to roll that back.

@alexandra: Well, it might take me a little while to get that feature rolled in; it’s not just as easy as it might seem. I’m trying to avoid multi-step uploads to minimize having to pass along all the values of all the uploaded bookmarks via your browser, which would probably cause more encoding issues. I’ll look into it, but no promises on timeline.

Thanks at all for looking into it. I´ll wait. Just let me know if you ‘give up’ or don´t have the time to. That would be kind.

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks

Hey all. I have been working on something similar that supports bundles and has a fairly advanced display system for links. I will be posting a beta version of the plug in a few hours. Cheers.

Andrew, plugin worked splendidly. Thank you. Please let me know how I can make a small donation to you for your efforts to provide this plugin.

No donation needed – I guess I was just waiting for an ‘ok, go!’ and never got around to a release. Ok go?

Re: [request] Import del.icio.us bookmarks

Go. I used this plugin to export my links, then imported to delicious, then used magnolia’s delicious import to get them there, too. Not quite sure why I need/want my bookmarks in all three places, but at least I have the flexibility to use the three different systems. I like that flexibility; I’d been worried that using the Txp links to have a linklog on my site was not flexible. Your plugin solved that. Thanks again.
