Site renders all blank pages
Hi everybody, I’m having problems with a Textpattern 4.0.3 site. All the txp pages in the site as well as textpattern/index.php appear as blank pages. I can run php okay from non-txp pages (for example, phpinfo works) and I can see my database in phpmyadmin. Nothing has changed with my txp installation, I haven’t made any upgrades recently and the .htaccess file is still there. The config.php has not been changed and I have not changed any passwords. I’m not sure what else to check. I’ve emailed my hosting support but it takes up to 24 hours to hear back from them, so I don’t know if anything has been changed on their end. It’s been over 24 hours and I still can’t figure this out. Without being able to run textpattern itself I don’t know if there’s any way to get any kind of error messages. Any suggestions appreciated!

Re: Site renders all blank pages
I tried an upgrade to Textpattern 4.0.4 to see if that will fix the problem. The site (and textpattern/index.php) are just blank pages. So I created a new database just to see if I could do a fresh install with 4.0.4. It seemed to setup okay but when I login, textpattern/index.php renders blank. Any suggestions or tips on getting error messges back from textpattern are appreciated.

Re: Site renders all blank pages
If you can’t get to the Textpattern admin panel, there’s obviously nothing you can do from within Textpattern.
Check your hosting company’s documentation to find out how to view your server’s error logs. There might be some clues in there, like a PHP error. Most likely your hosting company has upgraded something without telling you.

Thanks, Alex, I’m hoping to hear back from the hosting support if something has been changed on the server side.

Re: Site renders all blank pages
Mmmm, the same problem I had today, but I thought was a plugin cache problem
And now? Have I to change provider?!?
Mine has:

Register globals: 1
MySQL: 5.0.26-standard-log
Locale: it_IT.UTF-8
Server: Apache/2.0
PHP Server API: cgi
Header RFC 2616:

Plug-in attivi: zem_contact_reborn-4.0.3.18, zem_contact_lang-4.0.3.5, pap_contact_cleaner-0.1, rss_admin_db_manager-4.3, rss_live_search-0.7m, ako_nav-1.0m, rss_live_archive-0.7
Hope it helps.

Re: Site renders all blank pages
C,
Yours is not the same problem, since you can obviously reach the Textpattern admin panel.
