problem with upm_img_popper and upm_imgage

I have installed those plugins, but after image upload I cant edit (resize, create thumb) an image, this feature dosn’t show up at the top of a page. :( insert image link in write tab is there and its working well, but this editing option…

my diagnostic tool says:

The following PHP functions (which may be necessary to run Textpattern) are disabled on your server: phpinfo, show_source, system, shell_exec, passthru, popen, proc_open, socket_create?

is this could be a reason?

My plugins do not affect your images tab at all. You’re not expecting the upload form to be within my plugin are you? Because it’s not – you still have to upload and manage your images through the images tab.

mhh, how so? I ‘ve got 2 homepages on other server and at the top of a image tab (then I click on image filename after upload, on yellow background) there are options to resize, to rotate image and create thumbnails, but in this server I don’t. that’s why I thought maybe the reason is this server different configuration (some important php functions are forbidden/disallowed) and send you diagnostic tool extracted material. you still aver that this can’t be the reason? ok

no-no, I don’t, but this image managing stuff (like I ve got in other homepages admin areas) is missing under images tab…

Okay, I don’t see anything out of place there.

So, if you de-activate the plugins, do the controls “magically” return?

Re: problem with upm_img_popper and upm_imgage

Then it is not my plugin that has done/is doing it.

Off-hand, I believe you don’t get those controls unless your server has GD installed. Looks like diagnostics presently doesn’t include a check for that, to let you know. I’ll have that corrected.

If you check your phpinfo, you can check for an entry named “gd”. If it doesn’t appear, then you’ll know for certain.
