DAC website

Last time I posted a message on this forum, I was saying that it will be 2 weeks before my next project is up and running. I was wrong.

Criticize, enjoy, and then criticize some more: DAC website. Bring it on!

Long live TXP!

Re: DAC website

Really nice site.

I noticed a few things that may improve it.
  1. It took me a whiile to realize where the “contact us” was you may want to find a way to make this easier for those averse to scrolling. Perhaps a tiny primary text-nav item at the top of the page or a “contact us” in the main nav that that takes you to the form.
  2. In the same way, I think the testimonials are kinda buried. You may want to pop one up to the main content area and provide a “more testimonials” link

Other than those two minor things, looks like nice work to me.

Congrats

Re: DAC website

Whatever you’re trying to do with the nav completely falls apart in Opera. Looks terrible.

Re: DAC website

@kevinpotts, that’s the best I could do for Opera users. Optimization is now complete for all major browsers. All suggestions still welcome!

Re: DAC website

nice work gerhard … clean … nice whitespace … nice font sizes … love your testimonial treatments …

nice scroll effect for “back to top” .. why not use it for email / contact us too ?

Re: DAC website

You might want to explicitly set the background for the main part to white. If you mean ti to be otehrwise, try clearing the white edges of the graphics to transparent.

Re: DAC website

Gerhard

I’m using FF and I usually browse with JS off until I need it. This leads to a spot of bother with the menu system on the site which basically doesn’t show up for us JS impaired folks (apart from a set of 1px underlines on the right side of the page) until you mouseover the links.

Once JS is turned on the story is different and all looks fine.
