[help] Is there a way to upgrade an existing plugin?

Help a poor n00b out. =o(

I just installed rss_pluginstaller, and I love the way it allows me to update a plugin I have installed already, but I find myself wishing there was a way to do that for all my plugins.

Is there a way to do this with any plugin, besides the process of delete old version-install new version-activate new version that I’ve been doing?

you don’t have to delete the old version. Just paste the new version into the field, click upload, then activate it below. That removes at least one step.
